In the midst of the relief efforts going on in Nepal another earthquake of 7.3 hit today. This time the epicenter was between Kathmandu and Mt. Everest. It is rare that two quakes of that magnitude would hit the same region within weeks, but not unheard of. Scientists say that because of the Himalayan mountain range that future quakes are possible.
It is during this time that the people of Nepal and the relief workers need prayer the most. Those who have survived both quakes, but have damage to their houses will struggle with the fear of the next one. Relief workers are being put in danger and supplies will become more limited as need increases.
People ask about fear of going. I'm sure there will be moments of uncertainty, but God has given me a peace that this is where He wants me in July of 2015. I am anxious to get to Nepal even if we only make an impact on one life. I know the people of Nepal will leave an impact on me.
